The 1-day workshop was successfully held at the Regal Kowloon Hotel on 18 September 2006 with around 100 participants from government departments and consultant firms. Apart from delivering the latest technical information on water reuse and reclamation, the workshop was conducted to honour the retirement of Prof Howard HUANG of HKUST. With the implementation of the first water reuse scheme at Ngong Ping early this year, it is expected that more and more discussions on this subject in either water sector or the public will be taken place in Hong Kong.
