Water Supplies Department Joins "Hong Kong Engineers Week Carnival 2024"

The first stage of Tseung Kwan O Desalination Plant (TKODP) has commissioned for supplying fresh water  on 22 December 2023.   In order to enrich the understanding of public on the desalination plant, the Water Supplies Department (WSD) set up an exhibition booth with games at the “Hong Kong Engineers Week Carnival 2024”, held between 1 and 3 March 2024, to educate the public on the desalinated seawater treatment process, the advanced reverse osmosis technology adopted with showcase of the reverse osmosis module.
