Water Supplies Department Joins "Eco Expo Asia 2022"

In order to enhance the public’s understanding of the floating solar power systems installed at Shek Pik Reservoir, Plover Cove Reservoir and Tai Lam Chung Reservoir, WSD set up an exhibition booth at the “Eco Expo Asia 2022” held from 14 to 17 December 2022 to explain to the public the details of this pilot scheme.  Exhibition panels and a floating solar panel were displayed at the booth to introduce the advantages of the System, including reducing carbon emission, suppressing algae growth and saving land resources.
