Water Supplies Department Joins " Construction Innovation Expo 2022" 

The Water Supplies Department (WSD) set up an exhibition booth at the "Construction Innovation Expo 2022" from December 13 to 17 2022, to introduce to the industry the adoption of innovation technologies in various projects. The exhibition booth was divided into six zones.  Apart from the information of different innovation technologies , the exhibition booth also featured a Building Information Modeling  interactive platform and virtual reality safety training

  • 3D effect animation of WSD logo free flowing in a water tank was displayed in the mega panel in the booth front.
  • Visitors experienced Virtual Reality (VR) Safety Training Kit to learn safety knowledge of working at construction sites..
  • Through the Interactive Platform of Building Information Modeling, visitors had get a better understanding of the recent large-scale projects of WSD.
  • Staff of WSD exchanged their experience in using off-site construction with other industry professionals.
