Water Supplies Department Joins "Eco Expo Asia 2021"

The Water Supplies Department set up an exhibition booth at the “Eco Expo Asia 2021”, which was held from 27 to 30 October 2021, to introduce and promote use of “Recycled Water” to the business sector, public institutions and members of the public. The use of recycled water contains fresh water demand.  It also minimises impacts to the environment by reducing the amount of treated sewage effluent discharged to the receiving water. The projects of Reclaimed Water Supply to Sheung Shui and Fanling, and the Centralised Grey Water Recycling System at Anderson Road Quarry Development were used as examples to demonstrate the latest development of reclaimed water and grey water recycling.
