Water Supplies Department Joins “InnoCarnival 2021”
Between 23 and 31 October 2021, the Water Supplies Department (WSD) set up an exhibition booth at the “InnoCarnival 2021” organized by the Innovation & Technology Commission to introduce WSD’s proactive adoption of robotic technology in our daily operation. The water quality monitoring in impounding reservoirs, as well as application of robotic technology in in-line inspection and repair of water mains were introduced to the public in the event.
Besides exhibition panels, operation of the robot in a mock-up water main was showcased with a view to enriching public understanding of WSD’s service enhancements through innovations and technologies.
