Wan Chai District Council Visits Tai Tam Waterworks Heritage Trail

To reinforce communication and interaction with the District Councils, Water Supplies Department (WSD) invited the Wan Chai District Council (WCDC) to visit the Tai Tam Waterworks Heritage Trail on 26 July 2019. The Chairman of WCDC NG Kam-chun and WCDC members, accompanied by the Home Affairs Department staff, visited the historic waterworks structures at Tai Tam which some of them have been declared as the statutory monuments, and learned the history of water supply. After the tour, Director of Water Supplies WONG Chung-leung and WSD staff discussed the water supply in Wan Chai District with the WCDC members at the Tai Tam Tuk Raw Water Pumping Station.
