WSD invited the Tuen Mun District Council to visit Tuen Mun Water Treatment Works on 2 March 2017. On the day of the visit, Tuen Mun District Council Chairman Leung Kin-man and District Officer (Tuen Mun) of the Home Affairs Department Aubrey Fung led a party of Tuen Mun District Councillors and Home Affairs Department staff to gain first-hand knowledge about the technologies, procedures of water quality monitoring and applications of renewable energy involved in the entire water treatment process. They also had a thorough discussion with the Director of Water Supplies Enoch Lam as well as WSD staff about water supplies, and provided valuable opinions on WSD’s services.
