Water Conservation Competition - Roving Exhibition

To promote water conservation, the Water Supplies Department has launched a Water Conservation Competition under the theme "Creative Water Saving Ideas to Share with Every Home".

There are two categories in the competition, one is the "Water Smart Snapshot Contest", which is open for public to join as a team of 2 to 4 households. They are to present a creative water saving idea with no more than 3 snapshots and a brief introduction of such idea in 100 words in Chinese or English. The other category targeting secondary school students is called "Student Water Wise Challenges". Students are welcome to form as a team of 4 to 8 and submit any creative water saving ideas in the form of photos, video, PowerPoint presentation, models, etc, together with a description of the idea with 1,500 words in Chinese or English.

418 entries from open category and 60 submissions from secondary school category were received.

Exhibitions on some winning entries will be set up at the Sai Kung Jockey Club Town Hall, the Cheung Ching Estate Community Centre and the Leighton Hill Community Hall from 15 to 21 August 2012.
