Water Supply to New Housing Developments in Sheung Shui and Fanling
Project Scope
- construction of a fresh water service reservoir at Tong Hang with a capacity of 55 000 cubic metres (m3);
- laying of about 2 kilometres (km) trunk mains with 900 millimetres (mm) diameter connecting to the new service reservoir to existing water supply system;
- laying of about 12 km distribution mains with diameters ranging from 150 mm and 700 mm in the south-western part of Sheung Shui and Fanling (SSF) areas and associated service connections;
- upgrading of the existing Tai Po fresh water pumping station and laying of associated water mains; and
- associated works including environmental mitigation works, landscaping works and other engineering works.
