Establishment
Water Supplies Department Volunteer Team was established in 2002. Our team members comprise serving/transferred/retired staff members of various Branches and Units. The Water Supplies Department Volunteer Team is registered as a voluntary body (registration number: G32) with the Secretariat of the Steering Committee on Promotion of Volunteer Service of the Social Welfare Department. In the past years, the Water Supplies Department Volunteer Team has had active participation in charitable activities organized by various community and voluntary bodies. We have received Volunteer Services Awards/Certificates from Social Welfare Department and Community and Voluntary bodies.
Mission
The Water Supplies Department Volunteer Team is dedicated to serve the Community and actively participate in charitable activities to help those in need. It provides volunteer services for vulnerable groups, such as the elderly and young people and is active in social services and environmental protection.
