"All About H2O" Lecture Series and Special Exhibition

"All About H2O"

All About H2O.

Water is the origin of life. All living creatures on Earth need water to survive. The amount of water in the human body is about two-third of our total weight and we need water in every part of our daily life. However, how much do you know about "water"? Climate change has caused severe droughts in different areas around the world. How serious is the water scarcity worldwide? What are the challenges encountered by China in managing their water resources? How does the quality of water affect our health? How does the Water Supplies Department ensure that our drinking water quality compiles with international standards? From March to July 2013, the "Advisory Committee on Water Resources and Quality of Water Supplies" presents a series of public lectures and an exhibition at Hong Kong Science Museum to enhance public awareness on water conservation by exploring various topics related to water from a scientific but down to earth perspective.

"All About H2O" Lecture Series
