The Water Supplies Department always strives to provide quality water supply services. To enhance communication with members of the public, a water supplies seminar is held annually to exchange views and ideas on water quality and water supply services. This year, the seminar was held on 8 June 2011 at the Ngau Chi Wan Civic Centre Theatre. The following three topics were shared: "Maintenance, Fault and Emergency Plan for the Distribution System", "Total Water Management - Water Conservation Design Competition" and "Water Safety Plan - WSD's Emergency Measures Taken in Response to the Nuclear Power Plants Incidents in Fukushima Prefecture".
Upon the completion of presentations, a Question & Answer session was arranged to listen to the comments and enquiries from the attendees.
