The annual certificate presentation ceremony of "Quality Water Recognition Scheme for Buildings" was held at the Hotel Icon on 22 August 2013 to recognise the efforts of property owners, owners' corporations, property management companies, etc. in proper maintenance of their fresh water plumbing systems. Implementing for 11 years, the number of gold, silver and blue certificates has demonstrated a steady growth. This year, the category of industrial/commercial buildings has the most significant increase in the number of certificates, showing that people have become more aware of the quality of their drinking water.
