Emergency Water Suspension Notices and Enquiries
Please be informed that water supply to the following areas will be suspended during the period
as mentioned. Please also note that supply may be restored earlier than scheduled without further notice as soon
as works are completed. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. For enquiry related to the following water supply

The suspension will affect all premises bounded by Shing Tai Road, Shun Tai Road, Lok Man Road, Chai Wan Road, Tai Tam Road and Cape Collinson Road. (Please see attached map ) |

Reason for Suspension |

Planned connection work to existing 18' trunk main to be carried out at Chai Wan Salt Water Service Reservoir.

In order to reduce the supply interruption raising from the leaks and bursts
of aged water mains, WSD has launched a comprehensive and systemic programme since December 2000 to replace
or rehabilitate about 3,000 kilometres of aged water mains. Planned suspensions of water supply for
making connections will therefore be required. For more details, please visit

- Notes :
- This notice covers only major planned temporary suspensions of water supply
which will affect large area.
- Direct notice will be given to the affected premises for other planned suspensions
of water supply.
- For those water suspensions due to emergency situation (e.g. main burst),
announcement will be made through radio broadcast, TV, the press media and Emergency Water Suspension Notices webpage.
