"Equivalent" means equivalent in the opinion of the Water Authority. Examples of equivalent qualification are as follows:-

• a Plumbing Craft Certificate issued by the City and Guilds of London, the issue date of which is within 5 years before the date of application; or
• a fellowship/membership of The Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering - Hong Kong Branch (formerly as The Institute of Plumbing of the United Kingdom), the issue date of which is within 5 years before the date of application or a valid fellowship/membership card of The Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering of the United Kingdom at the date of application.
